Jūvelie is operated by Mitchell Stuckey in Richmond, Victoria, Australia. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you browse our Shopify store, place an order, manage a subscription or contact us. For privacy questions or requests, email mitchstuckey@gmail.com.
We collect information you provide, such as your name, email, delivery and billing addresses, optional phone number, order details, subscription choices, marketing preferences, and messages or return requests. Shopify and payment providers process payment credentials; we receive payment status and limited transaction details, not your full card number. Please do not send card details, identity documents or unnecessary medical information by email.
Our store and its service providers also collect technical and usage information such as IP address, device and browser information, cookie identifiers, pages viewed and interactions with the store. Some information comes from Shopify, payment and delivery providers, including payment confirmation, fraud indicators and delivery updates.
We use information to process and deliver orders, collect payments, administer recurring subscriptions, provide customer accounts and support, handle returns, prevent fraud, maintain records, meet legal obligations and improve our store. If you choose to receive marketing, we use your contact details and preferences to send it. You can unsubscribe using the link in a marketing email or by contacting us. Essential order, payment and subscription messages may still be sent.
We disclose information as needed to Shopify and Shopify Subscriptions, payment processors, delivery carriers, email and technical service providers, and professional advisers. We may also disclose information where required or authorized by law, to resolve disputes or protect legal rights. We do not give delivery providers more information than is reasonably needed for the delivery and related service.
Shopify hosts our store and provides checkout, accounts, analytics and related services. Shopify Network Intelligence is enabled. This allows Shopify to use information about your interactions with this store together with information from other Shopify merchants to support and improve services, including personalization and advertising. Shopify is responsible for certain processing for these services, including responding to applicable privacy requests.
For details about Shopify's own handling of personal information, see the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy. You can learn about relevant choices and submit requests through Shopify's privacy portal. These choices are separate from contacting Jūvelie about information we control.
Cookies and similar technologies support the cart, checkout, sign-in, security, preferences and analytics, and may support personalization and advertising through Shopify. Where a consent banner or privacy-choice control is displayed, you can use it to manage the choices offered. You can also manage cookies in your browser, although blocking necessary cookies may prevent parts of the store from working.
Our Shopify data-hosting location is the United States. Shopify and other providers may also process information in Australia, Canada and other countries where they or their service providers operate. Overseas laws may differ from Australian laws. See Shopify's privacy policy for its international processing arrangements. We take reasonable steps appropriate to our business and applicable law when choosing providers and handling information.
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to provide services, manage ongoing subscriptions, meet recordkeeping requirements, resolve disputes and protect legal rights. We then delete or de-identify it where appropriate. We use reasonable access and security controls, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
You may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of information we hold about you, or to raise a privacy complaint. We may reasonably verify your identity before acting and may need to retain some records where legally required. We aim to respond to requests or complaints within 30 days and will explain any delay or lawful reason we cannot fulfil a request. Where applicable, you may raise an unresolved complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
Our store is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect children's information for marketing. Contact us if you believe such information has been provided. We may update this policy as our practices change, publish the revised date here, and provide additional notice when required.
